Protecting the flower trade
Every year we review customer spending. Should your spending not be consistent with that of a horticultural trade customer, we may have to review the documentation originally submitted when applying for the trade card. Any customer that has gained admission unfairly will have their card revoked.

J. van VLIET Cash & Carry Trade Card
All businesses involved in the horticultural trade are welcome to apply for a trade card at
J. van VLIET Cash & Carry. Four trade cards are allowed per business (this may vary depending on the branch)

Register
To become a member you need to provide us with the following information:

Authorize
You may register four (varies across locations) buyers on your trade account. You will need to write a letter authorizing each person and they will need to come into the cash and carry personally and bring photographic identification. They will then be issued a trade card with their name as a buyer for your business. It is possible to authorize another person other than a director/buyer to purchase products at J. van Vliet Cash & Carry. Please write a note (on letter headed paper) authorizing the person to use your card on your behalf. This may only be done in special circumstances, as regular buyers must have their own trade card. Present this. When you show this letter of authorization and personal identification to the manager,you will be allowed to shop on this one occasion on the owners behalf.

Conditions
All transactions are subject to the general sale and deliver conditions of the J. van VLIET Cash & Carry Group. A copy is available in each cash & carry or can be downloaded here.

Payments
We accept cheques (with a guarantee card), cash and all major credit and debit cards (except AMEX).
If paying by cheque, your cheque may be subject to Transax (cheque guarantee service).
The company reserves the right to refuse a cheque as payment method.

Returns and Refunds
J. van VLIET endeavour to sell the best products in terms of quality and freshness. Therefore J. van VLIET operate a strict stock rotation policy. Because of the perishable nature of the products, there may be an occasion that you are unhappy with the quality of the product provided. If you notify us within 24 hours of purchase, together with returning the item and the invoice as proof of purchase, we will issue a credit if valid. All credits have to be discussed and approved by the relevant department manager.

House rules
    -Parking at the area of J. van VLIET Cash & Carry is at your own risk.
    -We can not be held responsible for damage to clothes while shopping (dyed flowers etc).
    -Children are welcome at their own risk. Parents are responsible for their behaviour and supervision. 
    -While we pay big attention to Health and Saftety, please note that shopping is at your own risk. 
    -Due to the nature of our business, floors might be slippery. Please be careful.
    -Inform us when you have lost your J. van VLIET Cash & Carry Trade Card, when there are changes to your details or if you are closing or selling your business.
    -The Trade card remains the property of J van Vliet and must be returned on request. Possession of a card does not guarantee entry.

Delivery
As an extra service to our customers, J. van VLIET Cash & Carry offers you the convenience of having your products delivered to your door. You can choose to select the products yourself in the warehouse or you can place your order by phone, fax or email! Call your local branch for more information or contact the Nationwide Delivery Center in Birmingham.

Complaints
If you feel that we did not provide you with the best possible service, please give us your feedback in order to help us to improve our service. Please discuss your complaints with the General Manager of the cash & carry first. If a complaint/problem is not solved to your satisfaction, please send your complaints to:
