Cordyline Australis

Origin

Cordyline Australis, also known as cabbage tree or Torbay Palm, is a popular ornamental plant native to New Zealand. This plant adds a tropical touch to gardens and patios.

Characteristics

Cordyline Australis is known for its long leaves that grow in bunches at the ends of the stems. These leaves come in different colours, such as pink, green and red. In addition, these plants are ideal as container or patio plant.

Care

Cordyline australis is a relatively low-maintenance plant. It thrives in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Regular watering during dry periods is all it needs. They are fairly cold-tolerant, but younger plants are better protected from frost.
